HTH 102 - Pharmacology This course provides the student with a comprehensive overview of pharmacology and anesthesia concepts. The student will examine the application of pharmacology and anesthesia concepts in the context of various patient care delivery settings. Pharmacology provides the learner with knowledge of medications, solutions, and their methods of delivery to ensure safe practices and the delivery of quality patient care in the surgical setting. The student will gain knowledge of their vital role with medication and solution use in all three phases of surgical case management. The student will obtain an understanding of the principles and practice of anesthesia as it relates to the surgical patient. (1 Credit)
