Valance bond and molecular orbital theory, solutions, inter- and intramolecular forces, chemical equilibrium, chemical kinetics, and electrochemistry. 3 hours lecture, 3 hours laboratory. (Prerequisites: Secondary school chemistry with at least a B grade or permission of the instructor; CHE 103. Pre- or Co- requisites: MATH 208 or MATH 302).
