Dimensional analysis, unit conversions, basic atomic theory, basic inorganic nomenclature, introduction to chemical reactions, stoichiometry, gases, and thermochemistry. 3 hours lecture, 3 hours laboratory. (Prerequisites: Secondary school chemistry with at least a B grade or CHE 101-102 at Immaculata with at least a B grade, or permission of the instructor.
