An introduction to the major religious traditions of South and East Asia, including Hinduism, Buddhism, Confucianism,Taoism, and Zen. Selected readings from their sacred writings and opportunity to experience the artistic forms and cultural riches of the religions of the East. Satisfies the Non-Western Cultures requirement of the Liberal Arts Core. If taken as College in High School course, this does not count for the Liberal Arts Core. Spring semester. 3 credits.
