Exploration and analysis of the basic principles of instructional design associated with the development and cognitive effects of a variety of instructional technology media and materials, including: prepared software; emerging programming, authoring, and problem solving tools; web and html designs; audio, photography, graphics, animation and video; and on-line workgroups and resources. Instructional design features will include adaptation of technology to address teaching methodologies, curriculum resources, administrative functions and evaluation of student achievement. Prerequisites: ID500, ID511, ID513, ID521, ID522, ID523, ID531, ID533, and ID553. Fall semester. 3 credits.
