Students will gain hands-on experience in computer networking fundamentals (primarily LAN’s) and current market operating systems in preparation to plan, purchase, maintain, and evaluate the performance of computer systems. Troubleshooting strategies, assessment of technological needs, assistive technology possibilities, and systems security issues will also be addressed. Prerequisite: ID670. Spring semester, even-numbered years. 3 credits. Fee.
