Provides the student with the opportunity to synthesize what has been learned in the major coursework and to apply that knowledge in the focused study of the epistemology and methods of history and political science. The course provides an overview of the development of the disciplines and attention to variations in approaches to knowledge within and between the disciplines. Prerequisites: HY335 and 6 credits upper-level HY or PS coursework. Fall semester, odd-numbered years. 3 credits .
