Theoretical and experiential study of group process and group therapy. Includes study of the theory of group dynamics and group development as well as the practical aspects of creating and maintaining therapy groups from a systemic and relational perspective. Students participate in a group process lab to enhance their understanding of the principles of group work and their skills in leading groups for the individual, couples, and families. Fall semester. 3 credits.
