Lesson planning for the teaching of citizenship education, based on the PA Academic Standards, is stressed in this class. Instructional techniques for the teaching of history, geography, civics, and economics to diverse learners receive major focus. Exposure to professionals and professional organizations, the use of curricular materials and technology, and discussion of ethical behavior and classroom management complete course. Corequisite: ED304. Prerequisite: ED201. Spring semester. 3 credits.
