Study and practice of the methods of teaching foreign languages in elementary,middle,and high schools. Includes historical and philosophical theories of second language acquisition. Emphasis is on the development of a variety of approaches and materials for effective instruction and evaluation according to American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages and PA Academic Standards. Corequisite: ED304. Prerequisite: ED201. Fall semester, odd-numbered years. 3 credits.
