This course includes the PA Academic Standards,trends,materials, state standards,and approaches for the teaching of science/health concepts and processes in elementary education. Active engagement in science/health experiments/presentations and procedures within a laboratory approach and inclusion strategies for physically handicapped students will be discussed and presented. Science/health curricula and textbooks will be examined. Prerequisite: ED201. Fall semester. 3 credits.
