A comprehensive study of fundamental principles and contemporary practices of communicating to a corporation’s shareholders and stakeholders. Students examine the central role of communication in the capital markets and the systemic interactions of corporations, intermediaries, analysts, regulators, media, and investors. They will obtain experience in writing, design, and publication of financial communication documents and in organization and production of financial communication events. Spring semester, odd-numbered years. Prerequisite: CS110. 3 credits. Fee.
