Learners develop their knowledge and skills to recognize when there is a need for information to resolve communication problems or situations, and their ability to identify, locate, evaluate, and effectively use that information to resolve the issue in an appropriate, effective, and efficient manner. Skill development in problem identification, search strategies, critical and creative analysis of information, evaluation of possible solutions, and effectiveness of oral communication, media writing, image and media interpretation, new media and technology, and cultural, intercultural, and international implications.
