Investigations in cell structure and function to complement topics in BL247. Students will gain first hand experience with techniques commonly used in cell biological research including quantitative microscopy, histochemistry, spectrophotometry, cell fractionation and centrifugation, organelle isolation, enzyme assays, protein electrophoresis. Prerequisites: BL152 and BL153. Corequisites: BL247, CH112, and CH113. Spring semester. 1 credit. Fee.
