Description:
Various mental and physical challenges that affect individuals from late adolescence into late adulthood are reviewed. Art therapy assessments and interventions to address those challenges are explored. Development of case studies is practiced, including administering and writing up assessments, streamlining progress notes, and devising and documenting treatment plans. Emphasis is on work with individual adults, primarily in clinical settings. Prerequisites: AT500, PY500, and PY520. Spring semester. 3 credits. Fee.
