Description:
Family systems theory and art therapy techniques are integrated and explored. Students become adept at family art evaluation and learn to use art-based interventions with couples and families. Emphasis is on family treatment methods as well as the use of a family systems context when treating individuals and couples. Includes a 4 1/2 hour practicum with a volunteer family. Prerequisites: AT500, FT550, and PY520. Spring semester. 3 credits. Fee.
