Study and practice of approaches in art therapy specific to the treatment of children. Art as therapy and therapy with children will be examined. Through literature and experiential exercises, students explore the application of art therapy technique, methods of art-based assessment, and case study development to the psychological, social, and educational needs of children. Prerequisites: AT500 and PY520. Spring semester. 3 credits. Fee.
