As an advanced three-dimensional experience, students in Advanced 3D Media are expected to develop both depth and sophistication in their creative efforts. This course engages the student to go beyond fabrication for its own sake, to a determined intellectual development of artistic purpose and statement. Working in an atmosphere where contemporaries pursue like intellectual investigations, the students experience a rich milieu of idea generation and critical dialogue, positioning their work artistically and historically. Prerequisite: 6 credits from AR125, AR245, AR260. 3-4 credits. Repeatable for credit. Fee.
