Introduction to economic reasoning, basic economic concepts and theories used in microeconomics and macroeconomics. Economic techniques including graphing and marginal analysis will also be introduced and applied to practical problems in everyday life. In addition, this course will focus on the way economic concepts can be taught at the elementary and high school level in a way that integrates economics into a broader understanding of Michigan history, government and geography.
