This course offers instruction and practice in racquetball at the beginning, intermediate and advanced recreational levels. Emphasis is placed on the skills of grip, strokes, footwork, court coverage and rules of the game. Singles and doubles strategies, offensive and defensive positioning and tournament play are incorporated at the intermediate and advanced levels. This course is intended for novices and students currently playing at any of these levels. This course may be taken four times for credit. Students must demonstrate increased proficiency and skill attainment with each repetition. When this course is offered for three hours per week, the additional time is utilized for skill development and court strategy.
