This course is a study of the principles of infant/toddler care, including all aspects of infant and toddler development. Students learn to plan appropriate indoor and outdoor curriculum and environments. Topics include health, nutrition and safety for the very young as well as licensing regulations, staff interactions, parent participation and program development. This course is for child development majors and partially fulfills master teacher permit specializations.
