This course gives the most current instruction in the American Red Cross lifeguard training techniques and first aid and CPR skills required to gain eligibility for a lifeguarding position. Upon successful completion, a student will earn certifications in both American Red Cross Lifeguard Training and CPR for the Professional Rescuer. Students may repeat this course to renew certifications. Adequate swimming skills are necessary.
