This course is designed to have the student demonstrate skills in gymnastics. Standardized progression of skills instruction is used in tumbling or floor exercise, uneven parallel bars, balance beam and vaulting. The concepts covered include safety and injury prevention, balance and body alignment as they relate to the events taught, and preparing for gymnastics through movement/skill combinations in gymnastics routines. This course may be taken four times for credit.
