The purpose of this course is to assist students as they investigate and construct operational knowledge of young children’s construction of logicomathematical knowledge. This course includes extensive laboratory experiences where students interact with diverse learners through observation and participation in the application of appropriate logico-mathematical knowledge experiences including technology and the investigation and evaluation of children’s thinking. Prerequisite: Admission to the Teacher Education Program (TEP).
