A course designed to acquaint students with research methods and computer skills as related to the history profession. The principal requirement is the successful completion of a formal research paper in which students will demonstrate proficiency in research, writing, and basic computer skills. NOTE: It is strongly recommended that history majors complete this course during the first term of their junior year. Prerequisite: Nine semester hours of history, including one of the freshman/sophomorelevel series. (Students must receive a grade of C or better for credit toward completion of degree requirements.)
