Includes the concept of human environment interaction throughout the lifespan, history of nursing, and concepts of healthcare delivery. Requires basic understanding of medical terminology. Focuses on the role of the registered nurse in the application of basic concepts, skills and techniques in simulated and reality settings. Prerequisites: Admission to the ASN Program, ENG 1101, MTH 1112, PSY 2200, BIO 3347, L347. Prerequisites or co-requisites: NSG 1135, BIO 3348, L348.
