Culture based approach to increase language proficiency. Students continue to develop listening, reading, speaking and writing skills as they study diverse history and customs of Spanish speakers around the world. Prerequisites: NOT SPAN 212 & (C- OR BETTER IN 113 OR 199 OR SPANISH PLACEMENT LEVEL 211) Credit Hours: 4 General Education Code: 2CP Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken an unlimited number of times, but only last course taken counts. Note: Effective Summer Quarter 2010-11 (June 2011) any non-repeatable course may be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
