Special relativity; Lorentz transformations; relativistic invariants; transformation properties of electric and magnetic fields and potentials; Lorentz force and electrodynamics; electromagnetic fields of a point charge; electromagnetic waves; solutions to the wave equation in rectangular, cylindrical, and spherical geometries; wave propagation in matter; reflection, refraction, and transmission; wave guides and fiber optics; Fresnel equations; polarization; dipole radiation.
