This course introduces the student to medical emergencies and the basic logical ways of accessing the patient's physical status when presenting for dental treatment. This course will also give them the knowledge of common medical emergencies enabling them to know how and when to anticipate and manage those emergencies thus reducing the liklihood of their occurrence.
