This course examines the various mechanisms for regulating the workplace relationship. Introduces students to labor relations and collective bargaining; covers the parties (union and management), the legal framework, union structure and administration, the employer role, union organizing, bargaining issues, the negotiation process, grievances and arbitration, and public sector labor relations.
