Examination of the historical development of biological anthropology, exploration of current knowledge of the evolutionary process, palaeoprima-tology, palaeohominin evolution, and the sociobiological foundations of primate and human behavior. Current theory and understanding of human biological variation, adaptation, and development. Prerequisite: ANTH 102 or consent of the instructor.
