Description:
Student participates in scientific investigation under faculty supervision. Student may be involved in planning a project, conducting a literature review, obtaining IRB approval, collecting and analyzing data, and preparing a final research report. Strongly suggested for majors considering graduate study in Psychology. May be repeated for credit, up to a maximum of 15 units. Requires a minimum CSUB GPA of 2.0 and concurrent enrollment in PSYC 395 for the first quarter of registration if this is the first Applied Experience course (see listing accompanying PSYC 395). Offered on a credit/no credit basis only. Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in PSYC 291; completion of PSYC 300B; consent of instructor who will serve as sponsor; and approval by the Applied Experience Coordinator of the Department of Psychology. Students seeking to register for this course should obtain the correct form from the Applied Experience Coordinator or from the Psychology Department Office.
