This course examines the major theories explaining American politics in light of race and ethnicity. Particular emphasis on intra- and intergroup conflict and cooperation, and the nature and dynamics of American political values, discourse, leadership, organizations, institutions, and policies, when analyzed from the perspectives of four major racial and ethnic groups.
