The course provides an in-depth exploration of crafts in education through the making of various media, including textiles, fiber arts, pottery, and jewelry. Accompanying lectures examine these crafts and their implications in the future of our society, as well as the achievements of artisans who have made craft what it is today. Prerequisite: ART 302 or 401. Materials fee required.
