First section of the course is devoted to meteorological interpretations of cloud fields as observed from weather satellites. Second section of the course devoted to examination of general and specific applications of remote sensing of the environment. Includes imagery from satellite, ground based, and airborne systems; data analysis and decision methods; multispectral analysis and evaluation of water, terrain, mineral, forest, and soil resources.
