A laboratory-based course covering the theories and methods used in modern instrumental analysis. Topics include the theory and practice of instrumental techniques, statistical methods for evaluating and interpreting data, sources of noise and error, and experimental methods in spectroscopy, electrochemistry, and chromatography.
