This course presents an in-depth investigation of the current research in nucleic acid biochemistry. The class will focus on the structure and function of nucleic acids, biochemical processes involving nucleic acids, interactions of nucleic acids with proteins and drug molecules, catalytic nucleic acids, and the genome and genetic engineering.
