Course seeks to enable students to create and sustain cohesion and adaptability as two prerequisites for successful family relations. Topics covered include communication patterns and family meaning, the communication of intimacy, the communication of family roles, decision making in families, family conflict resolution, and communication strategies for reducing family stress.
