This course is designed to offer students a basic understanding of the adolescent stage of development. The course examines changes during adolescence, how these changes impact the individual, the family, and the broader social context in which adolescence occurs. Exploration of cultural and gender differences as it relates to this life stage, and how these variables impact our understanding of adolescence.
