CJ 394. Courts and Judicial Systems General education further study course. Consists of a case study approach of an individual defendant from the time the crime is committed through the defendant's parole (of an actual homicide case in California). Includes legal analysis of the procedures and rules involved throughout the criminal justice process. Students play the role of the decision maker for the law enforcement, court, and correction agencies, resulting in an in-depth view of the adversary procedures which form the basis for the criminal justice system. Prerequisite: CJ 191.
