BIOL 737. Aquatic Toxicology The qualitative and quantitative study of the fate and effects of toxic agents in the aquatic environment. Class examines the concentrations or quantities of chemicals that occur in the aquatic environment and includes a detailed study of the transport, distribution, transformation, and ultimate fate of various environmentally important chemicals. Class is for undergraduate or graduate students interested in advanced training in toxicology. Prerequisites: BIOL 418 or equivalent and CHEM 531 or equivalent, or instructor's consent.
