Microbes and You General education introductory course. Surveys general information about microbial physiology, biochemistry, and ecology that support more detailed discussion of interesting topics in food, medical, and environmental microbiology. Includes subjects of general interest and current newsworthy topics. Credit will not be given if the student has completed any biology course beyond the 100-level prior to enrollment. Suitable for general education requirements, but cannot be used for credit toward the major or minor in biological sciences.
