THEA 253. Costuming for the Stage Introduces principles of costume design and construction. Touches on all aspects of the design process from conception of ideas to final product on stage. Includes approaches to rendering the costume design, basic pattern-making, fabric selection, and dying. Practical experience with university theatre Mainstage and Second Stage productions. Includes a two-hour lab.
