ESL Assessment Examines legal, theoretical, and practical considerations in the ESL/BE students. Explores a variety of established principles of language assessment, procedures for identification of language-minority students, and applications for these procedures and techniques. Introduces the desirable qualities of tests: validity, reliability, practicality, and beneficial backwash.
