Methods/Assessment: Adaptive Examines introductory assessments, curriculum, and instruction related to students with mild and moderate learning needs. Includes competencies for (a) developing individual educational plans, (b) assessment for instructional planning, (c) planning and delivering research-validated individualized instruction, (d) monitoring and basing instructional decisions on performance data, (e) managing safe and conductive learning environments, and (f) strategies for working with students with adaptive learning needs in general and special education environments. Prerequisites: CI 719, 720, or instructor's consent.
