CI 320. Introduction to Diversity: Exceptionalities Surveys the strengths and needs of learners with exceptional needs, including those with physical, sensory, and cognitive disabilities and those who exhibit gifts and talents. The effects of cultural differences and human developments on individuals with exceptional needs are explored. Current educational policy, practices, and services are reviewed. Prerequisite: admission to teacher education. Corequisites: CI 311, 321, and CESP 334.
