Prerequisite: SPD 0151. This course addresses the etiology, affects of the disabilities, assessment and interventions for the young child. Emphasis is on working with families of young children with disabilities. Writing and implementation of the IFSP is studied. Transition to kindergarten is included. Ten clock hours of field experience are required with infants/toddlers who are disabled.
