Prerequisite: CIS 352. A study of advanced topics in structured programming. Topics include: programmer controlled sort/merge concepts, advanced concepts in structured programming techniques, program documentation, multi-image records, master/transaction file concepts and advanced language syntax commands and topics. Emphasis is placed on development of programs that generate, access, and update sequential and random master files. Cohesion, coupling, structured walkthrough, key matching, test data development and editing are some of the concepts/processes emphasized in the programs.
