Prerequisite: Sophomore standing. Introduces students to the art of collaborative inquiry, deliberation, and decision-making. The course explores diverse approaches to ethical and effective inquiry, deliberation, and advocacy, as well as developing the skills necessary to their practice. The course focuses particularly on development of critical thinking and reasoning abilities, self-reflexivity, empathic listening, reading, viewing, and speaking skills, dialogic inquiry, and ethical and effective advocacy skills.
