The student will become more aware of the arts in global cultures from ancient to modern times for purposes of identity, understanding, and expression of our inheritance as world citizens. The cultural and ethnic differences will be stressed enough through readings, discussions, and studio experiences emphasizing the arts as the expressions of these eras. (6 hours studio)
